Recurring themes in this book: "Outside the scope of this book", "Let a professional handle it", "Go to (some mircrosoft related website) for further documentation/solutions"Not what I was expecting. The first 32 chapters (which is where I've read up to at this point) are clearly geared towards beginner home users. Out of the roughly 600 pages I've read so far, I've learned a handful of tricks that weren't really all that useful but have basically reviewed everything I've already learned from a basic computer maintenance class and daily use. I was hoping it was going to be written more for IT professionals looking for enterprise tips, of which there are a few, but having more than 80% of the book be geared towards beginners hardly justifies a title as grandiose as "BIBLE".Overall, it is a well written book, aside from some copy and pasting every so often. Should be useful to home users who want to learn more about their operating system. Not particularly useful to any experienced professional, and only mildly useful to someone like me who is entry level.The last couple of chapters look promising but if the themes continue, then I will likely be left pretty disappointed overall.

This is truly an authoritative "bible" for Windows 10. It is an outstanding reference, and it is also a worthwhile in-depth examination of Microsoft's latest offering. There should be no surprise as Wiley is one of our most valued publishers!

I had hoped to get a "Bible" -- a "War and Peace" of windows books. What I got was an up to date user manual -- it has a few things I don't know in it (like the hypervisor), but I wouldn't say I learned very much.
